Broome
Note by A Milnes to As A Translator a chapter of The Life Of Pope

William Broome (1689-1745) became afterwards the chief helper in the translation of the Odyssey, translating eight of the books and supplying all the notes. Broome published a volume of Miscellaneous Poems in 1727, and having justly complained of Pope's treatment of him, received a place in the Dunciad.
